"Original Sin"
The inconvenient children learned to believe In Original Sin. They trip over their guilts and apologize to the angry bullies who find them usefully fearful. The angry bullies relax into their cruelties believing they were born that way, and it’s not a problem and it was easy to avoid the absent adults who found them annoying. Together the guilty and bullies dance as the inconvenient ones recognize their mistakes and vow to do better, to do what they’re told, to follow despite being stepped on. It must be their fault, the bullies assert.
